SwimAmerica is a professionally run, coach supervised organization, with a well trained staff teaching large numbers of students of all ages how to swim using proper technique, so students are able to pursue a wide variety of aquatic activities.
SwimAmerica features tightly-edited progressions, developed by the best learn-to-swim experts in the world, designed to accomplish effective and rapid learning, and constantly updated to maintain state of the art status within the sport of swimming.
SwimAmerica quality is controlled and maintained by thorough preparation of every Program Director; site supervisor and a complete training of every coach. The National Office provides exemplary service and support so every student is taught with care, compassion, good humor; respect and understanding.
SwimAmerica Mission Statement
The SwimAmerica Staff seeks to actualize the SwimAmerica Vision Statement by providing a variety of programs, products and services. Careful marketing of these improves our visibility, satisfies the needs of our community, and enables us to stimulate the growth of student enrollment.
The organizational environment which we create and preserve to accomplish this, includes a high degree of innovation, goal orientation, quality synthesizing of ideas from throughout the swimming community into a coherent direction for action. We create and modify ideas, then champion those ideas that are most important to the further development of Swimming and the Swimmers in our community.
Zeroing-In On Goals
When students pass from one station to the next, it represents accomplishment for everyone - the student, the Coach, and the SwimAmerica program. One of the fundamental reasons SwimAmerica works is because it is 'goal-driven.' It is vital to everyone's success that we, SwimAmerica, stay focused on the advancement goals for the stations we teach. The specific skills we teach, the methods we use, the practice we allow and supervise must all be directed toward helping each student achieve these goals.
